⚙️ How It Works — The Big Picture
- Submit a Check Request — Enter the candidate's details and choose the checks you need.
- Candidate Gets a Link — The candidate receives a secure email with their personal link to fill out their information.
- Verification Begins — Smile Checks processes the selected checks. Some are automated; others are handled by a verified Partner.
- Report Is Delivered — Once complete, the report is sent to your email and available in the portal.
💳 The Credit System
Smile Checks runs on a prepaid credit system. Your company buys credits in advance, and each background check deducts credits based on the checks selected. You always see the credit cost before confirming a request — no surprises.
